It's not just a light...
Think BIG idea ... but not the kind of idea that brings a light bulb to
mind. More like the kind of idea that brings fireworks to mind. Layne and
Miranda Coggins started The Lano Company in 2006 in a suburb of Kansas City,
Mo., when Miranda created the pure Lanolin-based lip therapy, LanoLip. What
began as a stovetop creation later ignited into a million-dollar mega business.
Miranda is a testament to all women who invent a unique product and then
nurture it into a successful business. The Coggins' drive and determination
allow them to now proudly support their family of five with what began 5
years ago as a chemistry experiment.
